This assignment was given to us in our communications class at Okanagan College. The assignment has as its main objective a reflection of the writing process and its significance to our future professional life. To facilitate this reflection we were asked to interview someone who holds the kind of job we might like to have. This interview turned into one of the most important interviews that I will keep close to my heart. Throughout the interview I was given an eagle eye view into the depths of how MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying and Euthanasia) impacts all of us.

Great article n hope you continue to do more stories like this an adult survivor of mcfd I’m apart of a lawsuit that’s fighting for justice for us today. The system is broken n happy to read n see another story published

Hi Kathleen, I would like to interview more families yes…. I can keep adding to the community. I am so very sorry you are going through such a difficult time. The only way to fix this broken system to is educate ourselves with watching Mr. Schadenberg’s blog and familiarize ourselves with the Euthansia Prevention Coalition website and see how MAID (medical assistance in dying) affects families far and wide all over the world. As far as the article I wrote for the Boisvert family, yes I would like very much to interview more families. The only way a broken system can be changed is to change the law in Canada with regards to MCFD to safeguard families and children who are loved but at risk from the very broken system that puts loving and caring families at risk. It takes a community to change laws and I believe it is possible.
